Protecting people you love.

How Agent Hita works for parents and caregivers of older adults — and what it detects for each.

For parents

What Agent Hita does for your child

Agent Hita runs on your child's device and monitors incoming messages across supported apps for patterns of manipulation — including grooming language, escalating pressure, and isolation tactics. You receive an alert when content crosses an age-adjusted threshold.

What it detects

Agent Hita flags messages containing grooming patterns, sexual pressure, requests for secrecy, and other exploitation signals — calibrated for the child's age group.

Guardian alerts

When a message crosses a detection threshold, Agent Hita sends a summary alert to a designated guardian. Alerts describe the nature of the concern without forwarding the full message verbatim.

Consent by design

The app includes an anti-coercion safeguard: it cannot be installed silently or without the device owner's knowledge. Set it up transparently, together with your child.

Installation & setup — frequently asked questions

Should I select "Child" or "Adolescent," and set myself as the guardian?

Yes — during setup, choose the age group that matches the person you're protecting (not your own), and enter your own email as the guardian contact. The age group only affects how sensitive detection is; it doesn't change who receives alerts.

Do I need Agent Hita installed on my own phone to get alerts?

No. Guardian alerts are sent by email directly to the address you configure — you don't need the app, an account, or to install anything on your own device.

Do I need to confirm or accept before alerts start working?

No confirmation step is required — as soon as a guardian email is saved, that address starts receiving alerts. You'll also get a one-time notification email confirming you were added as a guardian contact.

What exactly does a guardian alert include?

Only a high-risk detection triggers a guardian email. It includes the threat category (e.g. grooming, financial scam), the severity, the app it was found in, and general safety guidance — never the message content, the other person's identity, or a full conversation history.

Can I add more than one guardian, like both parents?

Yes — you can add up to two guardian email addresses, separated by a comma, so both parents (or a parent and another trusted caregiver) are notified.

If I monitor more than one child, will an alert tell me which one triggered it?

Not yet — if the same guardian email is used across multiple devices, an alert doesn't currently identify which child's device it came from. In the meantime, we recommend using a separate guardian email per child, or checking each device's own dashboard directly. This is a limitation we're aware of and actively considering.

What happens if guardian alerts get turned off?

You're notified either way — whether alerts are turned off from within the app, or the underlying permission is disabled directly from the phone's Settings, the configured guardian receives an email letting them know monitoring has stopped.

For seniors & caregivers

Protecting older adults from digital fraud

Adults aged 60 and over report the highest financial losses from cybercrime. Agent Hita monitors messaging apps for romance scam patterns, financial fraud solicitations, and identity phishing — and alerts a designated caregiver when a threshold is crossed.

Romance scams

Agent Hita detects messages that follow romance scam patterns — emotional escalation combined with financial solicitation, requests for gift card payments, or urgency scripts targeting recently bereaved or divorced adults.

Financial & identity phishing

The app flags messages impersonating banks, government agencies, or family members requesting money, personal identification, or account credentials under artificial time pressure.
